Prevention Program: Available August 2019

Your hands are your tools—it’s important to protect them.

Most injuries in gaming occur in the fingers, hands, wrists, or forearms. This program is designed to reduce the risk of injury by correcting muscular and movement imbalances.

Hands & Fingers

Whether on console with thumb sticks, buttons, and triggers or on PC with keys and mouse buttons, your hands & fingers do most of the work and are prone to injury.

Wrists

The tendons and nerves that control the hands and fingers all run through the wrists making them sensitive to overuse or misuse.

Forearms

The muscles that control the movements and the nerves that control the muscles are all in the forearms, and many injuries occur in these regions.

Experts In Injury Prevention

The injury prevention program was designed by physical therapists and chiropractors along with gamers who have experienced injuries.  This program is comprehensive to aid in the prevention of overuse injuries, strain injuries, and nerve impingement syndromes.
